By using our platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use. This document outlines the basic rules of access, responsibilities, and limitations associated with the use of our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using Flow Bill, the user expressly agrees to these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree with any provision described here, you must refrain from using the platform.

2. Purpose of the Service

Flow Bill is a technological platform designed to manage sales, charges, invoicing, and reporting. The application serves as a support tool and does not replace professional accounting or legal advice.

3. Fiscal Responsibility

  • The user is solely responsible for complying with tax, accounting, and legal obligations in their country.
  • Flow Bill is not responsible for errors, omissions, penalties, or tax non-compliance resulting from the use of the platform.
  • In case of using electronic invoicing regulated by legal entities, the user is responsible for ensuring that the information submitted is truthful, complete, and compliant with current regulations.
  • We strongly recommend users seek advice from a certified accountant or tax advisor.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • Financial losses, penalties, fines, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the system.
  • Technical failures, service interruptions, human or system errors.
  • Loss of data, income, or information caused by misuse of the platform.

5. Improper Use of the System

The following is strictly prohibited:

  • Using Flow Bill for illegal or fraudulent activities.
  • Manipulating data to evade taxes or submit false information.
  • Unauthorized access to resources, accounts, or other users’ data.

Any improper use may result in immediate suspension of the account and reporting to the relevant authorities if necessary.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All rights to the software, code, design, logos, and content of Flow Bill are the exclusive property of the developer.
  • The user does not acquire any rights to the platform, except for a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use it.

7. Support Policy

Flow Bill provides technical support through official channels during established hours. Immediate attention outside of these hours is not guaranteed unless explicitly included in the user's plan.

8. Suspension and Account Termination

  • Violation of these terms.
  • Suspicious, illegal, or fraudulent activity.
  • Failure to comply with agreed payments or commission fees.

9. Changes

Flow Bill may modify these terms at any time. New conditions will be communicated to the user, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the changes.

10. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Flow Bill is developed and operated, without prejudice to the user's jurisdiction. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of said jurisdiction.

Fiscal Responsibility and Limitation of Liability

1. Use under user responsibility

Flow Bill is a technology platform designed to facilitate sales, invoicing, and collections. Its use is the sole responsibility of the user, who understands that proper, legal, and tax-compliant use depends entirely on them.

2. Tax compliance

The user is solely responsible for fulfilling their tax, accounting, and fiscal obligations before the appropriate authorities. Flow Bill does not guarantee that using the platform alone meets the legal or fiscal requirements of any jurisdiction.

3. We are not tax advisors

Flow Bill does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice. We strongly recommend that users consult with a certified public accountant or tax advisor to ensure proper compliance with their obligations before legal entities or other authorities.

4. Electronic invoicing and regulations

When using electronic invoicing features regulated by government agencies, Flow Bill acts only as a technological intermediary. The data sent, as well as its accuracy, validity, and legality, are the responsibility of the user who generates it.

5. Disclaimer of liability

Under no circumstances will Flow Bill be liable for penalties, fines, tax errors, or damages resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or negligent use of the platform by the user. Likewise, we assume no criminal, civil, or administrative responsibility for misuse of the application.

6. Acceptance of terms

Using Flow Bill implies the user’s express acceptance of these conditions. The user declares they understand and accept that any tax issue arising from the use of the app is their sole responsibility.

'Own Software' does not mean ownership of the source code

When the user registers Flow Bill as 'Own Software' before the DIAN or another tax authority:

  • They are not declaring that they developed the software.
  • They are only stating that they use Flow Bill under their fiscal responsibility.
  • No intellectual property, including code or brand, is transferred.

Intellectual Property

The user acknowledges that the Flow Bill software, including its source code, brand, design, and architecture, is the exclusive property of the platform owner. The fact that the user registers the software with the DIAN (Colombia) or another entity as 'Own Software' does not imply a transfer of rights, intellectual property ownership, or authorization to modify, distribute, or replicate the source code.
